Installation & Commissioning Guide for Electromagnetic Diaphragm Digital Metering Pump
2026-09-16 13:59:16

Correct installation and commissioning are the prerequisites for the stable and efficient operation of electromagnetic Diaphragm digital metering pumps. Standard installation procedures can avoid equipment vibration, pipeline backflow, inaccurate metering and other problems, and prolong the service life of the equipment. This article will provide a detailed professional installation and commissioning guide for digital Metering pumps, helping dosing plant engineers complete equipment deployment efficiently and correctly.
Before installation, prepare the site and check the equipment. First, confirm that the equipment model, flow parameters and material configuration match the dosing plant working conditions, and check whether the pump body, diaphragm, check valve and accessories are intact and undamaged. Select a flat, ventilated and easy-to-maintain installation position, avoid direct sunlight and high-temperature heat source radiation, and reserve enough space for later maintenance and debugging. Ensure that the installation base is stable to avoid equipment vibration during operation.
In terms of pipeline installation, follow the standard docking specifications. The inlet and outlet pipelines should adopt matching anti-corrosion pipelines, and the pipeline diameter should be consistent with the pump body interface to avoid excessive pipeline resistance affecting metering accuracy. The inlet pipeline should be installed with a filter device to prevent impurities from entering the pump cavity and blocking the check valve. The outlet pipeline is recommended to be equipped with a back pressure valve and a pressure gauge to stabilize pipeline pressure and avoid liquid backflow. The pipeline layout should be smooth, reduce bending and height difference, and ensure smooth liquid delivery.
Electrical connection and digital debugging are the core links. Connect the power supply according to the equipment voltage specification, ensure stable power supply and reliable grounding to avoid static electricity and circuit failure. After power-on, enter the digital control panel to set basic parameters, including stroke length, working frequency and dosing flow. Conduct no-load test operation first to check whether the equipment runs smoothly without abnormal noise and vibration. Then carry out medium test operation, gradually adjust the parameters, calibrate the metering accuracy, and ensure that the actual flow rate is consistent with the set parameters.
After commissioning, conduct overall system inspection. Check whether the pipeline interface is tightly connected without leakage, whether the pressure is stable, and whether the digital control system responds sensitively. After confirming that all parameters are normal, the equipment can be put into formal operation. In addition, record the installation and commissioning parameters for later equipment maintenance and parameter adjustment reference. Standard installation and commissioning can maximize the performance of the digital metering pump and ensure the long-term stable operation of the dosing plant system.
